Graffiti Workshop for FLINTA*
Sunday , 07.04., 13-16 Uhr Jugendclub “Alte Feuerwache”, Axel-Springer-Straße 40/41
This workshop is about creating a safer space for WLINTA* and empowering each other in our art, as the graffiti scene is unfortunately still very cis-male dominated. You don’t need any previous experience in spraying, just an interest in feminist streetart and of course a lot of motivation 😉
Queere Küfa von Voices for Berlin

Every second Tuesday of each month Voices for Berlin hosts a KüfA (Kitchen for All). Enjoy delicious homemade vegan/ vegetarian food with us. We look forward to seeing you! Food is served on a donation basis. All funds are going towards our work supporting queer liberation in and out of Berlin and to other queer organisations or initiatives.

Movie-Evening to Sex Work – Filmscreening of ‘Glück’ (2021, Henrika Kull)

“Glück” shows the lives of two sex workers in Berlin-Schöneberg. The trans* masc lead actor Adam Hoya was a sex worker for a long time. According to him, the film attempts neither to glorify nor demonize sex work, but simply to show it for what it is: work.
City walk “Sex work in Bülowagen”
Saturday, 20.04.2024, 14:00 Uhr. U Bülowstraße
In small groups we will walk through Schöneberg and listen to the audiowalk “We have always been everywhere”. Sex workers of the FAU tell us their stories about sex work in Schöneberg, experiences during the AIDS-crisis and tell us about sex work during covid. It shows that sex work has always been a part of Berlin and how important the sex workers’ fights are! If you don’t make it to our walking tour, you can listen to the audiowalk yourselves in the Berlin History App. The audiowalk is in German language.

Input materialistischer Queerfeminismus

Schon seit Jahren gespenstert ein Begriff durch die Reihen verschiedener feministischer Strömungen, oft als Schimpfwort, teilweise als Kampfbegriff genutzt. Der Queerfeminismus. In einer Essaysammlung verschiedener Autor*innen durch Friederike Beier wurde versucht den materialistischen Charakter und seinen Versuch sozialistische feministische Strömungen zu erweitern mit einem umfassenderen Verständnis patriarchaler Herrschafft und Einflussnahme in die Abläufe des allgegenwertigen Kapitalismus. Der Vortrag versucht diese Analyse verständlich zu erklären und ihre Kritik zu transportieren. (german only?)
